Joseph S. Gray, age 87, of Edgewater, died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at AdventHealth New Smyrna. Born in Willacoochee, Georgia to William Henry and Effie Woodward Gray, Joseph came to the area in 2013 from Deltona.
A United States Army veteran, Joseph was a Orlando firefighter from 1955, retiring in 1980. He attended Seventh Day Adventist Church, New Smyrna Beach and enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling and motorcycles. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Glenna; son, Michael (Kelli) Gray, of Clermont; 2 daughters, Kitti (Mark) McNamara, of E. Liverpool, Ohio and Stevie (Darrell) Littrell, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; 3 granddaughters, Erica, Nicole and Kaitlynn; grandson, Christopher; 2 great granddaughters, Sailor and Lily Anna; great grandson, Maverck and sister, Ella (Lam) Spivey, of Georgia. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James and sister, Mary.
