Who passed away April 25, 2025 at Halifax Hospice Center Port Orange, Fla. Joseph was born August 1, 1957 in Mt. Vernon, Alabama to the late Tommy C. Mitchell and Mary L. Mitchell.
Joe enjoyed fishing. He would go every single day into the night meeting his fishing buddies. He also loved watching movies and the tv show Swamp People with the alligator. He was also a hard worker.

Survivors include Life partner Arbre (aka) Bresha, who cared for him throughout his long illness. Sisters Idella (Carl), Edwina (Eric), Elonora Wright, Bertha Mae Hope. Brothers Andra Creagh (Tina), Anthony Creagh (Michelle), Eddie Mays (deceased), Jimmy L. Hives (Jackie), Sammy Hives (deceased), Host of Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
