Judith (Judy) C. Cross

Judith C. (Judy) Cross, age 85, of Edgewater, died Monday, December 4, 2023 at Beachside Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, New Smyrna Beach. Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Wilfred A. and Olive Hamel Pelletier, Judy came to the area in 1997 from Ormond Beach.

A bookkeeper, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Judy was a wonderful artist and enjoyed painting. She joined a cruise club and was fortunate to travel several different places. Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister that will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Michael (Kristine) Seward, of Edgewater, and Frederick Seward, of Danvers, Massachusetts; 1 grandson, Nathan Seward, of Ohio; 4 granddaughters, Emily Seward, of Ohio; Olivia Seward, of Ohio; Sarah Seward, of Ohio; and Kelsey Seward, of Amesbury, Massachusetts; and sister, Roberta Breden, of Edgewater. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Douglas Seward.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, with Redemptorist Fathers, officiating.
