June Fowler Perryman

June Fowler Perryman, age 99, died Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Ocean View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Smyrna Beach. Born in Atlanta, Georgia to Robert and Winnie Carter Fowler, June came to the area in 1970 from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

June adored learning new things, she was an avid reader and art enthusiast. She loved travel and had wonderful stories to tell of her traveling adventures. Her beautiful spirit and tenacity was infectious. Her zest for life, inspiring. She had a deep faith that carried her through painful losses including her sister, husband and both her children. She was and is an inspiration. This world is a darker place without her in it. It brings us hope and comfort knowing she’s reunited with her longed-for loved ones. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt and great-aunt. June will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her nephews, Earl Jackson, of New Smyrna Beach and Michael (Susan) Jackson, of Sandy Springs, Georgia; great nieces, Cristin (Dave) Peck, of New Smyrna Beach and Connie (Alex) Diamond, of Lebanon, Tennessee; four great -great nieces and five great-great nephews.

Celebration of Life will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.
