Karen L. Wolfe

Karen L. Wolfe, 63, of Russell, KY was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. She was born in Alliance, Ohio on May 24th, 1960, to the late Elmer F. and Edith M. Bergstrand.

Karen graduated from West Branch High School in 1978 and went on to graduate from Kent StateUniversity and Aultman Hospital School of Nursing. Karen spent 40+ years as a registered nurse and retired in August of 2021.

She was a devoted Christian and a member of Bridges Christian Church. She was also a longstanding member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, Legacy chapter #596.

Karen is survived by her husband of 40 years, James; son, Andrew J. Wolfe, of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Rachael (Michael) Miller, of Columbus, Ohio, and Lindsey (Zachary) Hutchinson, of Port Orange, Florida, and a brother, Paul (Pam) Bergstrand, of Leesburg, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary L. Bergstrand.

There will be a celebration of Karen’s life at Bridges Christian Church, 1402 Kenwood Drive, in Russell, KY 41169 on October 28th at 1:00 P.M.
