Karl Heinz Sachse

Karl Heinz Sachse, age 72, of Edgewater, died Friday, April 10, 2020 at his residence.  Born in Hamburg, Germany to Erich and Paula Runge Sachse, Karl came to the area in 1990 from Coram, New York.

 

The owner/operator of Karl’s Kar Kare in Edgewater from 1990 to 2004, he enjoyed fishing, boating, remote control planes, and his home in Springville, Tennessee.

 

Karl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, that will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Donna; four daughters, Dorothy (Angelo) Cucuzzo, of New York; Kristine Sachse, of New York; Keri (Jeff) Hudacko, of Daytona Beach, and Kimberlee Sachse, of Tallahassee; two sons, Karl, Jr. (Sandi) Sachse, of New York, and Kyle Sachse, of Edgewater; seven grandchildren, Samantha, Angelo, Jr., Amanda, Michael, Kylah, Kelsie and Kolton, and a sister, Suzanne Luppino, of New York.  Karl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wolfgang.

 

Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Settle-Wilder Chapel.
