Kimberley Grace Gross Shannon, age 57, of New Smyrna Beach, died Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Fort Lauderdale to Mark Alan and Beverley Sharon Kathleen Walton Gross, Kimberley came to the area 33 years ago from Coral Springs.
She was a nurse and enjoyed riding horses competitively. Kimberley loved animals, her dogs, and especially her horse, Fury. She adored her grandkids and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her three children, Michael (Heather) Shannon, Jennifer (Pete) Shannon and Zack Shannon; ten grandchildren, Michael Jr., Vallery, Brielle, Fallon, Myra, Noah, Sadie, Calum, Nova, and Layla; mother, Beverley (James R.) Geiger; two brothers, James Geiger and Daniel Geiger. Kimberley was preceded in death by her father and sister, Mercedes.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with Pastor Rebecca Hyvonen officiating. Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Lauderdale Memorial Park , Fort Lauderdale.
