Linda Ann Dixon passed to Heaven peacefully on September 18, 2024 at her home after a long battle with illness. Though we are saddened by the passing of her death, we still rejoice, for she is now safe and sound in our Heavenly Father’s arms.
Born in Red Bank, New Jersey on November 17, 1955, Linda changed the world to those around her. She was a bright shining star, having the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, making everyone feel loved to the fullest. When you met her, you knew automatically that she was different, that she wore a halo and was a special soul. She welcomed anyone and everyone, never judged, and always offered the most support, wisdom and abundance of love. She would greet you with a smile, a plate full of food, and leave you with great confirmation that there are still good people in this world.
Jesus tell us in His word that “there is no greater love than to lay down your own life for your friends”, and Linda lived by this. She ALWAYS put everyone but herself first. She was the true example of how we are to live.
Linda enjoyed painting, the beach, cooking, gardening, riding the motorcycle with Gary, singing, and going to church, but, most of all, being surrounded by her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gary Johnson; her four sons, Brian Dixon; William Dixon and his wife, Amanda Dixon; Addison Earley and his wife, Nicole Earley; and, Thomas Earley; along with her grandchildren, Makenzie Dixon; Cristina Dixon; Savannah Seager; Austin Seager; and, great grandchild, Bentley Seager. She has now reunited in Glory with her sweet daughter, Cristina.
Family, friends and others whose lives Linda touched are invited to the Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, 406 S. Orange Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 on Sunday, September 29, 2024 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and share all the ways Linda touched our hearts. Visitation begins at 11:30 am, services will start at 12:00 pm.
