Lloyd Morris Obituary
Lloyd Willard Morris, 72, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange. Born in Oneida, KY to Jess Willard and Mary Shelton Morris, Lloyd came to the area in 1979 from DeLand.
He was Commander of the Valiant Air Command War Bird Museum from 1998 to 2017, in Titusville; a 32 degree mason at the New Smyrna Masonic Lodge #149 F&AM; a member of Confederate Airforce, DeLand and an accomplished pilot.
Lloyd enjoyed his hobby of remote control aircraft and model trains.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Gay Benet-Morris, of New Smyrna Beach; a daughter, René Morris, of Seldovia, AK; a sister, Jackey Bently, of New Smyrna Beach; 2 brothers, Bart Morris, and Mike Morris, both of London, KY; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Mary Shelton Morris; and 2 sisters, René Morris Shepherd and Tishia Morris Murphy.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12 at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater.
