Lavanda Cloer, age 87, of DeLeon Springs, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her residence. Born in Hastings, Florida to Herman and Marjorie Minton King, Lavanda was a lifelong residence.
A homemaker, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Edgewater and loved shopping. Lavanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Ann Kepler, of DeLeon Springs and Denise (Ronnie) King, of Oak Hill; son, Allen (Susan) Cloer, of Edgewater; 5 granddaughters, Natasha (Jimbo) Goodrich, Rachel (Dan) Rohrbach, Angela (Donnie Carver) King, Patricia (Matt) Francis, Jackie (Bo) Barber; 4 grandsons, Johnny Eskew, David Cloer, Kevin (Debbie) Cloer and Michael Singbush; 17 great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Laura Cloer. Lavanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 45 years, Eugene, sister, Rosa Miller, and brother, Charles Herman King son, Herman Eugene Cloer; great grandson, John Warren Eskew; and son-in-law, Gene Kepler .
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at Clinton Cemetery with Pastor Timothy Palmer, First Baptist Church of Oak Hill.
