Margaret Cathers Obituary
Margaret S. Cathers, age 89, of Orlando and formerly of Edgewater, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at her residence. Born in Scranton, PA, Margaret came to the area in 1990 from Quakertown, PA.
A bookkeeper, she was a member and Elder at First Presbyterian Church, New Smyrna Beach, board member at the Duvall Home, DeLand; Presbyterian Women and Soroptimist International.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Judy Johnson, of MO; Shirley (Dennis) Neuschwander, of Orlando, and Sylvia (Barry) Stahler, of PA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace; father of her children, Charles Morris, Jr.; daughter, Susan; sons, Charles and Thomas; brothers, Charlie, Thomas, and John; sister, Evelyn; and great grandson, Blaze Hendershot.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with Chaplain Diane Conyers, Vitas HealthCare officiating.
