Marian O. Roach

Marian O. Roach, age 91, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday September 23, 2018 in Jacksonville. She was a lifelong resident of New Smyrna born to the late Mitchell and Vera (Gessford) Osteen.

Marian was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach, The Elks, and the American Legion. She really loved gardening and flowers, at one time enjoyed bowling with her late husband. Marian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her survivors include, daughter; Elaine (Charles) Strange of Jacksonville, FL., daughter-in-law; Doreen Roach, 5  grandchildren; Wade (Alma) Roach, Adam Strange, Taneal (Brendan) Cahill, Leslie Roach, and Billy Roach, 4 great-grandchildren; Laura, Robert, Meghan, and Lucas. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, William of 38 years, and son; William.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, 700 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater, FL 32132. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society SE Florida, 1737 N. Clyde Morris Blvd. Suite 140, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
