Marie Antoinette Alfieri, age 86, of New Smyrna Beach, died Monday, February 10, 2025 at Windsor Manor, New Smyrna Beach.
Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Anthony A. and Gertrude Foery Holler, Marie came to this area in 2005 from Omaha, Nebraska.
A medical technologist, she attended St. Gerard Catholic Church, card groups at Hacienda Del Rio, played piano/organ for various churches, and was involved with officer wives' clubs.
Survivors include her brother, Father Martin Holler, of Athens, Ohio; sons, Chris (Pam) Alfieri, of Omaha Nebraska and Michael (Laura) Alfieri, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Jacob (Kristen) Alfieri, of Fort Collins, Colorado; granddaughter, Alyssa (John) Fernandez, of Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughter, Sarah Alfieri, of Tampa, Florida; granddaughter, Emma Alfieri, of Athens, Ohio; grandson, Joe Alfieri, of Omaha, Nebraska; granddaughter, Sydney Alfieri, of Omaha, Nebraska; 2 great-grandchildren and 9 nephews and nieces.
A summer service is being planned for Marie and her late husband, Lt. Col (Retired) Joseph Alfieri.
