Marjorie (Marge) Ball Hoeck, age 92, of New Smyrna Beach, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, at her residence. Born in Tuckerton, New Jersey, to Lisle and Hester Chilcote Ball, Marge moved to Central Florida in the 60s and loved this area ever since.
A retired registered nurse, Marge was a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, in New Smyrna Beach, where she was a member of the church’s women’s circle. She was a volunteer at Bert Fish Medical Center in the radiology department and enjoyed her cooking club, pinochle group, and the Marlando Club. Marge was always busy and loved dogs, sewing, quilting, baking, the ocean, and swam nearly every day.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Jr. of Orlando; Kenneth and his wife, Graciela of Jacksonville; Robert and his wife, Lynne of New Smyrna Beach; and five grandchildren, Matthew, William, Sarah, Grace, and Andy. Marge was preceded in death by her husband Charles, in 2017, and her brothers, Jack, Bob, and George Ball.
Services will be held at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens for immediate family.
