Mary M. Blanchette

Mary M. Blanchette, age 64, of New Smyrna Beach, died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Halifax Health Hospice, Port Orange. Born in Jacksonville, Florida to Virginia Keyser and Frederick E. Mann, Jr., Mary came to the area in 2002 from her birthplace.

She worked at the Edgewater Publix for 38 years, and loved her job and her co-workers; she loved working and this gave her a chance to socialize. Mary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling. She loved playing pool and winning APA Pool League and got an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas. Mary was a devoted wife, sister, and daughter that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Wally; son, Bobby Evans; daughter, Felicia Evans, both of Jacksonville; brothers, Barney Mann and Robert Mann; sister, Linda Mann, of Port Orange; mother, Virginia Mann, of Port Orange. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Jr., and brother, Freddie.
