Mary Jean Curran, age 73, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Leo R. and Mary Jean Curran; she was a lifelong New Smyrna Beach resident.

A devote Catholic, Mary Jean was a secretary for over 20 years in Volusia County government and worked at New Smyrna Beach City Hall. She was involved with the Counsel on Aging for several years and enjoyed going out to dinner, watching movies and television.

There will be no service.
