Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Rock, age 81, of Edgewater, died Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:15am. She passed quietly at home with her husband and three sons who were present. Kathy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 13, 1939 to Mary and Thomas Antloger. She moved to Edgewater in 1989 with her husband, Richard after his early retirement from the telephone company.

Kathy was a secretary at the Gifts of Love, a member of the Lady Elk Lodge 1557 and a former Eucharistic minister at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in New Smyrna Beach. She retired from the Shaler Area School District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She loved to travel with her husband and was fond of cruises. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that loved spending time with her family.

Kathy is survived by her husband Richard; her sister, Pauline; her three sons and their spouses, Richard & Sue, Michael & Sue, Jeffrey & Lesa; her five grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, Jonathan, Aaron, Samantha, and her two great grandchildren, Tiffany and Tisun.

A private graveside service and interment will be held at the at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims.
