Miguel M. Madureira, age 20, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, March 13, 2022. Born in Danbury, Connecticut to Gilvandro and Izabel Menezes Madureira, Miguel came to the area in 2015 from Brewster, New York.
A handsome inspiring actor and model, Miguel was a member of New Smyrna Beach Calvary, a member of the Worship Team, and was very active in his church. He loved fast cars, motorcycles and going to the beach. Miguel was always looking out for others; he had a heart of gold. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his father Gilvandro (Patricia) Madureira, of New Smyrna Beach; mother, Izabel (Joseph) Rowe, of New Smyrna Beach; grandmother, Helena Madureira, of Brazil; grandmother, Luiza Laranjeira, of Brazil; grandfather, Evandro Nascimento, of Brazil; 2 brothers, Mauricio (Jessica) Madureira, of DeLand and Markos Madureira, of New Smyrna Beach; niece, Jade Madureira, of DeLand; 2 step sisters, Ana Luisa, of New Smyrna Beach and Kayla Rowe, of Deltona, and step brother, Austin Rowe, of Debary. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family friends and his church family and friends. Miguel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raimundo Laranjeira.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, 406 South Orange Street, New Smyrna Beach.
Celebration of Life for Miguel, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Calvary Christian Center, 1687 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, with Pastor James Harris and Pastor Alberto Oliveira, officiating.
