Patricia Sue 'Trish' (Hill) Wilson

Patricia Sue ‘Trish’ Wilson, age 77, of Edgewater, died at Fairgreen Assisted Living Facility with her family by her side on Sunday, July 31, 2022. 

Born September 15, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas, to Joe and Margarette Hill. Patricia was married for 54 years to Alwyn D. Wilson, the love and partner of her life.  She came to New Smyrna Beach in 2000 after living in Rye Colorado for more than 20 years.
 
Patricia enjoyed her career as an X-ray technician, working in Oklahoma, North Dakota and Colorado. The focus of her life was her faith in Jesus.  She led ladies’ bible study groups and church classes for decades.  She was an avid reader, sometimes keeping up with 5 books at a time.  She was always ready for the next adventure with her husband, traveling to Europe, cruises and RV trips throughout the United States.  Patricia was a very special wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. 

Survivors include her husband Alwyn D. Wilson; 2 children, Greg (Shelia) Holbrook of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Brad (Jamie) Wilson of Vinita, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; Sister Jeanne (Ed) Massel of Jacksonville Florida. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and 2 siblings, Ricky and Margarette.
 
A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at First Baptist Church (First NSB), 200 Faulkner Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 with Pastor Luke McKinney officiating. A social/lunch will be served following the service.
