Patrick Cody Conroy, age 58, of Edgewater, died suddenly Wednesday, November 20 at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando. Born in Winnetka, Illinois, Mr. Conroy came to this area in 1981 from Long Grove, Illinois. He worked in quality assurance for the aerospace industry at Cape Canaveral and most recently an aircraft mechanic with United Airlines.
Mr. Conroy was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church; New Smyrna Lodge #149, Free and Accepted Masons; the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando; and Bahia Shrine Temple, Orlando.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lynn; his son, Thomas of Edgewater; brother, Michael of Woodstock, Illinois; sister, Kelly (Todd) Kaether, of Beach Park, Illinois; nieces, Nicole Kaether of Tempe, Arizona, Taylor Kaether of Beach Park, Illinois, and Jennifer Spangler of Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania; and a nephew, Eric Herbst of Dover, Pennsylvania. Patrick was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ann Pease Conroy and Thomas Conroy, Jr.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, with Father Rodney Roehner officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Resurrection Garden.
