Peggy Sizemore Obituary
Peggy Sizemore, 87, of New Smyrna Beach, died on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at AdventHealth New Smyrna. Born in Columbus, Georgia to Joseph and Louise Talbot Martin, Peggy moved to this area from her birthplace in 1981.
A former secretary for the school board; Peggy was a member of Atlantic Coast Church, New Smyrna Beach. She volunteered at Bert Fish Medical Center and she loved to read, especially her Bible, work crossword puzzles, singing in the choir, spending time with her family, and praising the Lord.
Survivors include 6 children, Margaret (Malcom) Swim, Lila (David) Mattson, Mike (Trina) Sizemore, Laurie (Thomas) Blackmore, Missy (Robert) Rowland, and Amy Sizemore; and 21 grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brown T. Sizemore, in 2005; her sister, Mary Cline in 2011, and a great grandson, Peyton Warren in 2005.
Everyone who knew her, knew of her steadfast faith and love for the Lord.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Atlantic Coast Church, 1212 Conrad Drive, New Smyrna Beach, with the Reverend Jerry Fincher officiating.
