Randy Alan Bailey, age 57, of Edgewater, died Saturday, May 23, 2020 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Born in Jacksonville,FL to James Harold Bailey and Marian Shirley Lane Bailey. Randy came to the New Smyrna Beach area in 1980’s from his birthplace.  It is in New Smyrna Beach, where he would meet his wife Rita and eventually start his own family.

He enjoyed kayaking, sitting at the river with his wife, bicycle riding, and camping as leisure activities. Randy was also an avid bowler most his life, and a regular in the New Smyrna Lanes 9-Pin league. He loved going on cruises, and going to the Tennessee mountains with family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. 

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Rita; son, Nicholas; daughter, Barbara Jean; granddaughter, Isabella Joy; sisters, Linda and Susan; mother, Marian; brother-in-law, Nathan Maier; sister-in-law, Debbie Maier. Randy was preceded in death by his father, James Bailey. 

Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with the Reverend Andrew Pollock, officiating. Friends will be received Friday, May 29, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
