Richard H. Brice Jr.

Richard H. Brice Jr., age 97, of Oak Hill, died Friday, October 20, 2023 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Richard H. and Helen Brice, he came to the area in 2004 from Newark, Delaware.

Richard Jr. served in WWII as a navigator on B17s in the U.S.  Army Air Corps. He was a mason contractor, member of Edgewater United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 285. He played tennis and was a tennis instructor. Richard Jr. enjoyed gardening, and jigsaw puzzles. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all who  knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 39 years, Lorna; daughter, Peggy Sue Wagner, of Bear, Delaware; 2 step daughters, Pamela Hall, of Newark, Delaware, and Candace Ann Brooks, of Wilmington, Delaware; step son, Steven (Theresa) Brooks, of Ormond Beach; 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Richard Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg; and daughter, Debbie Flood.

Memorial Service will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Edgewater United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Staci Plonsky, officiating. A luncheon will be held afterwards.
