Richard Drew Raymond, Sr

Richard Drew Raymond Sr., age 82, died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his residence in Deltona, FL. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Phillip and Helen Malkin Raymond, Richard came to the area in 1988 from Brookfield, CT.

As a general contractor, Richard built many homes in & around Brookfield. He was an avid fisherman and lifetime member of Ischoda Yacht Club in Norwalk, CT.  He owned racecars as a young man & continued his love of racing as a huge NASCAR fan (Go, Kyle Larson) and as a frequent visitor of New Smyrna Speedway.  Richard was a member of Journey Church and had a great love of family & close friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include 3 sons, Gregory (Coleen) Raymond, Richard Jr. (Christy) Raymond, and Frank (Jennifer Pepe) Raymond; daughter-in-law, Delores (Edward, deceased) Lattin; 2 sisters, Eleanor Bottler, and Diane (Keith) Covil; 2 brothers, Allen (Sylvia, deceased) Raymond, and Lawrence (Celine) Raymond; grandchildren, Amy, Christopher, Kimberly, Ashley, Ryan, Kelsey, Greg Jr, Jacob, Mason, Brandon, Austin, Rayann, Ashley, Joseph, and Christopher.

Service will be Fri, March 7th by the family.
