Richard "Rick" D. Savage

Richard "Rick" D. Savage, age 73, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater, Florida.

Born in Athens County, Ohio to James Raymond Savage and Marjorie Lee Lewis Savage, Rick moved to Florida in 1982.

He was a truck driver for Ranger Construction Company for 25 years and was a member of South Haven Christian Church. Rick enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and working in the yard. He especially liked playing with his dogs.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Judy; son, Shaun Savage; step children, Gary (Monica) LeRoy, Lynn (Dave) Turgeon, and Greg (Hellen) LeRoy; brothers, Sam (Jean) Savage, Larry (Jeanie) Savage, and Joe (Tina) Savage; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. And best friend, Frank Cameli and loving sister-in-law, Janet White.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law, Janet Leonard, brothers, Randy Savage and Bill Savage, and brother-in-law, James Leonard.

Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at South Haven Christian Church with Preacher Mike Smith, officiating.
