Robert Louis Colarusso

Robert Louis Colarusso, 65, passed away on January 2, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was born on August 7, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York.

Robert is survived by his brothers Sal, James, Anthony, and Daniel Colarusso; his sister, Philomena Colarusso; and his nieces and nephews, James M. Colarusso, Kane Colarusso, Dominic Colarusso, Elizabeth Osland, and Lydia Rose Colarusso. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Vincent and Anna Fino Colarusso, and his sister, Rose Colarusso.

Robert grew up a devoted fan of the New York Mets, Giants, Knicks and Rangers — and Willie Mays. He had skilled hands that he used for decades as a dental technician in Brooklyn and South Florida. Robert loved food and especially the gatherings around big meals that brought laughter to the family and many friends he held close. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A service to honor Robert's life will be held at a later date in New York.
