Robert “Bob” T. Luznar, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Daytona Beach on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. Born May 14, 1931, in Eckhart Mines, MD, Bob moved to Daytona Beach, FL in 1956 and started “Daytona Radio and TV” with his brother Eddie.
Bob “Pop-Pop” is survived by the love of his life, Betty Jane, of 62 years; his 8 children, BJ (Rick Grimshaw), Debbie (Bargides), Terri (Greg Buchner), Bobby, Paula (Khalid Deemas), John (Gayle), Tony (Tina) and Jeanie (Richard Chamberlain); 18 grandchildren (Christy, Austin, Will-Dust, Savannah, Ryan, Bobby, Emine, John, Zack, Mirwan, Sarah, Bella, Abbie, Richie, Tommy, Julia, Hannah and Anthony); 2 of his 16 older siblings, Annie (Wiltse) and Clara (Siewick); and an army of nieces, nephews and other children who “adopted” Bob and Betty as their 2nd parents.
His greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends, bowling, polka dancing and afternoons filled with dinner and a good game of cards.
