Obituary
Robert T. Yunker, age 71, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his residence. Born in South Daytona to Robert E. and Bonnie F. Jones Yunker, Robert T. was a lifelong resident.
A county school custodian, he was a member at First NSB A Family Church. Robert enjoyed golfing, hunting and loved fast cars. Robert had an obsession with coyotes. He truly loved his family and was a devoted son, and brother.
Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Yunker, of New Smyrna Beach; brother, Richard Yunker, of Port Orange; niece, Tara Yunker; grand niece, Camdyn Yunker; and grand nephew, Tyler Rodriguez, all of St. Augustine. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. and brother, Randall.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with the Reverend Luke McKinney, First NSB A Family Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society SE Florida, 1737 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 140, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
