Robert "Bob" A. Harless

Robert A. “Bob” Harless, age 69, of Edgewater, died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Born in Charleston, West Virginia to Richard and Norma Thomason Harless, Bob came to the area as a child from his birthplace.

A railroad maintenance employee, he was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill and was a member of Elks Lodge Post 1463, DeLand. Bob was a fun loving guy that lived his life to the fullest. He liked sports and spending time with his friends. Bob was a devoted father and dearly loved his daughter with all of his heart.

Survivors include his mother, Norma Harless, of Edgewater; daughter, Nikki, of Edgewater; two sisters, Stacey (Lou) Mozingo, of Anderson, Indiana; and Julie (Jonathan) Myers, of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister in law, Joyce Harless, of Crystal River; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Richard; brother, Bill; and step son, Shawn McEver.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with the Reverend Charles Acheson, officiating.
