Ruth Burgess Obituary
Ruth Burgess, age 86, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Coquina Cay Assisted Living Facility. Born in Hampton, Tennessee to William E. And Dovie Arnett, Ruth came to the area in 1992 from Orlando.
She was an inspector with NCR, in the electronic manufacturing industry. Ruth enjoyed being home and especially spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda (Hugh) Jones, of New Smyrna Beach and Renae Middleton, of Edgewater; granddaughter, Amber Middleton, of Edgewater; two grandsons, Jeffrey Jones, of Orlando; and Christopher Middleton, of Edgewater; sister, Thelma McPherson, of Maitland. Ruth is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with Pastor Don Shobert, officiating.
