Obituary
Sharon Hansen, age 74, died Sunday, August 7, 2022 at AdventHealth Hospice, New Smyrna Beach. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Samuel and Rose Pearl Griffith Hathaway, she was a lifelong resident.
Sharon was a phlebotomist in the health care industry and loved to garden, crochet and cook. She loved her dogs and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Sharon will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Gene; 2 daughters, Sharon (Jamey) Hagy, of Wytheville, Virginia, and Nicole (Timothy) Drozinski, of Jupiter; 2 grandsons, Austin (Yas S. Clair) Strickland, of South Daytona, and Calvin Drozinski, of Jupiter; and 2 sisters, Mildred (Robert) Strickland and Holly Hansen.
There will be no service at this time.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
