Sherilynn Louise Hathaway

Sheri Hathaway, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 after a 6-year battle with cancer. Her husband of 53 years and 2 sons were by her side. Born in New Smyrna Beach at Sunry South Hospital to John Robert and Marilyn Lois Caldwell; she was a lifetime resident.

Sheri was a 1968 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School where she was a band member and head majorette and a 1967 Miss New Smyrna Beach contestant. She worked in accounting and was a remarkable wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and was often found supporting both sons’ and grandkids’ baseball activities and pursuits.

Survivors include her husband, Brian; 2 sons, Chad (Kathleen) Hathaway and Derek (Kate) Hathaway; brother, John “Skip” (Mary) Caldwell; 3 grandchildren, Lucas Hathaway, Hunter Misak, and Maggie Dulko; brother-in-law, Allen Dale (Pam) Hathaway and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Caldwell.

At this time, a service is not planned.
