Shirley Andrus Obituary
Shirley Martha Andrus, age 75, of Edgewater, died Monday, December 14, 2020 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Jack E. and Elizabeth Clinton Wells, Shirley was a lifelong resident.
A homemaker, Shirley loved her family. She helped raise various nieces and nephews that she loved as much as her own children. Her nieces were her best friends. Shirley loved her dogs too. She was well known for her lima beans, sponge cake and her sense of humor.
Survivors include her two children, Donna (James) Born and John Andrus; three grandchildren, John Born, Emily Born and Allie Andrus; and beloved nieces, nephews and family. Shirley was predeceased by six brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Clinton Cemetery with the Reverend Don Shobert.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 or Edgewater Animal Shelter, 605 Mango Tree Drive, Edgewater, FL 32132.
