Susan Lynn Brock

Susan Lynn Brock, age 63, of Daytona Beach Shores, died Monday, February 13, 2023 at Halifax Health Medical Center. Born in Miramar, Florida to Richard Wolf and Bertha Clara Pung Cavendish; Susan lived in Florida all of her life.

Susan was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter and dearest friend anyone could have.  Outside of being everything to everyone, Susan and her late husband, Robert Brock, ran and operated Ocean 80 resort and Coco Loco Bar and Grill; finding her career in the service industry. She loved the beach, watching the sunrise, and Danielle Steele books, anything with three dolphins, signifying  their strength and love they shared together. A very fun, loving person; she was a social butterfly with a heart of gold. Susan was devoted to her fiancé Charles H.B. Floyd III.  

Survivors include her daughter, Lauren Lynn Brock, and her fiancé Gregory Palermo; her son, Robert “Danny” Brock, and his fiancé Rachel; fiancé, Charles H.B. Floyd III and his children and families; and brother, Steven (Wendy) Cavendish, and their families; 2 step daughters and families. Susan was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Cavendish; late husband Robert Brock; and sadly many other family, friends and ones dear to her heart. We know now that she has joined them in peace and is free from the restraints and the unknowingness of this life. May she be remembered for her beautiful smile, her have faith outlook on life and life after.

Celebration of life  will  be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, 1640 San Jose Blvd. Daytona Beach.
