Suzanne (Sue) E. Bognar

Suzanne E. Bognar, age 64, of Holly Hill, died Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Halifax Health Hospice Ormond Beach Care Center.

Born in Montreal Quebec, Canada to Joseph S. And Maria Mezoti Bognar, Suzanne came to the area in 1986 from Montreal, Canada.

She was an Administrative Assistant in the Medical industry. Suzanne was a horror movie buff, and loved watching foreign movies. She loved her animals, gardening, and especially growing orchids. Sue was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother that never held back.

Survivors include her mother, Maria Bognar, of New Smyrna Beach; son, Joseph Geier, of Holly Hill; grandson, Brock Joseph Geier, of Holly Hill. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bognar; daughter, Jennifer Geier, and life partner, Timothy Shorey.

There will be no immediate service, but memorial will be announced to friends and family.
