Terence Lorenzo Plummer

Terence Lorenzo Plummer aka good-Buddy, born on December 2, 1962, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, at the age of 62. A husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Terence will be remembered for hIs loving heart,  generous spirit, and strong faith.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Patrice (Smith) Plummer, and their four children: Justin Plummer, Shane Plummer, Shanita (Todd) Stroud, and his son Traves Plummer, whom passed in 2022. Terence has eleven cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his parents, Eugene and Ruth Plummer, four brothers: Marvin, Edwin, Bert, Klent (Danielle), and sister: Patricia (Greg) Gaskin. Terence was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Plummer, in 2005. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of nieces and nephews.

A 1981 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, Terence was an accomplished track athlete during his high school years. He had a lifelong love for fishing and enjoyed every moment spent with this children and grandchildren. His kindness, generosity and friendliness, left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. 

Terence was a member of Bible Way Church of God in Christ in Oak Hill, Florida, where his passion for singing and sharing the Bible touched many lives. His favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. NIV

After many years of dedicated service, Terence retired from the City of Port Orange, Florida. He also ran a lawn care business, which he loved, as it gave him the opportunity to help people in his community. His warm heart and willingness to serve others will not be forgotten.

Graveside service was held on March 15, 2025. His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were touched by his life. He will be deeply missed, but as he used to say, it was "Very Good".
