Thomas M. Benner

Thomas M. Benner, age 84, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Born in Madison, Wisconsin to Arthur and Kathryn Louise Marschall Benner, Thomas came to the area in June, 1998.

A certified financial planner, he was a member of the Smyrna Yacht Club. Thomas enjoyed sailing.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Maura; son, Thomas M. Benner, of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step sons, Peter Alan (Julie) Craig, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin and James M. Craig of Indianapolis, Indiana; step daughter, Diane C. (Ron) Milgate of Lafayette, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Parrish, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and step son, Paul Thomas Craig.

Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.
