Thomas Lewis, age 59, of Daytona Beach, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Advent Health Fish Memorial, Orange City. Born in Plantsville, South Carolina to Elizabeth Green and Alfonso Lewis Sr., Thomas came to the area in 1965 from his birthplace.

A home repair handyman, he was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, New Smyrna Beach. Thomas love fishing and doing handy work. He was a very good artist and enjoyed drawing. Thomas was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Equilla Halton, of New Smyrna Beach, and LaQuid Footman, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Davion, Dontrelle, and Paris Thompson; 3 great grandchildren, Amora, Ahmir, and Azai Thompson; 2 sisters, Angela (Ronnie) Jacobs, and Evon Johnson; 3 brothers, Leevon (Connie) Lewis, Jimmy (June) Lewis, and Vincent Lewis. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
