Victor Frederick Krull, 78, went to live with the Lord on September, 29. He passed peacefully at home with his loving wife of 57 years. He was born in Woodstock, IL on July 6, 1943 to Kenneth and Elsie Schwake Krull. He had one sister, Geraldine Kyle, who preceded him in death.
He served in the Army as military police protecting the Berlin Wall and was a member of American Legion Post 17. He went on to manage several gas stations and was quickly noticed and picked up by Quaker State Motor Oil Company. He retired with 30 years of service working in many corporate facets of the company which allowed for many travels and relocations. His efforts were acknowledged with the company’s Top Gun Award for outstanding corporate sales. Vic enjoyed the outdoors of hunting and fishing. He and Ruby enjoyed their retirement home on the water which allowed for their love of fishing. In recent years Vic and Ruby enjoyed cruising. Vic met the love of his life working in the family restaurant.
He and Ruby married in 1964 and had 3 children. He is survived in death by his wife Ruby Krull, his children Tammy Davis (Scott), Jeffrey Krull and Brad Krull (Kathy) and his seven grandchildren, Kaley Carraway (AJ) Jonathan Krull (Courtney), Joshua Davis, Hannah Davis, Brianne Krull, Grace Davis and Erin Krull, and six beautiful greatgrandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with Chaplain Kennedy Jacobs, officiating. Gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, October 3, 2021 from1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral time.
