Virginia G. Cesan

Virginia G. Cesan, age 97, of New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Reflections Memory Care of Port Orange. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts to James D. and Dorothea Beidenkopf Gleason, Virginia came to the area in 1983 from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

 

A homemaker, she along with her late husband, Harry were former owners/operators of Cape Breeze Motel and Cottages in North Truro, Massachusetts. Virginia was deeply involved in the operation of her husband’s farm, James W. Cesan and Sons.

 

Virginia was a member of Feeding Hills Congregational Church, in Feeding Hills. An avid reader, she enjoyed being an 18 year volunteer at New Smyrna Beach Library. Virginia had a large circle of friends, enjoyed water color painting, cross stitching, and spending relaxing time at home. She raised 5 great kids and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

 

Survivors include her three daughters, Judith (Charles) Brown, of New Smyrna Beach; Deborah (Donald) Rudolph, of Longwood; and Amy Cesan, of Palm City; son, Glenn Cesan and his life partner Teri Lambrou, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; three grandsons, Matthew (Erin) Brown, Darrin Vogeli and Jonathan (Senani) Rudolph; granddaughter, Lauren Vogeli; great grandchildren, James Vogeli and Ella Grace Vogeli; and Rhiannon Brown and Jonah Brown. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Harry and son, Eric.

 

There will be no service.
