William Andrew Cope

William Andrew Cope, age 75, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.  Born in Greencastle, Indiana to Charles and Jessadene Cunningham Cope, William came to the area in 2013 from his place of birth.

 

A project manager in the construction industry, he was a United States Navy Vietnam veteran.

William was a member of the Port Orange Eagles, like watching Purdue University sports, Indiana Colts and NASCAR. He enjoyed woodworking and music. William was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.

 

Survivors include his two sons, Brian (Kimberly) Cope, of Whitestown, Indiana and Harold Sims, of Greencastle, Indiana; daughter, Angela (David) Bandy, of Brownsburg, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Rick (Debbie) Cope, of Indiana and Chuck (Pam) Cope, of Bainbridge, Indiana. William was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald and sister, Norma.

 

Funeral service will be 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims. Burial will immediately follow.
