I had never met Mr. Robert Ashe but his sister Miss Dorothy told loving stories of her love for him and there wonderful relationship. This gave me a clear picture of a brother that she cared for deeply. My sincere condolences to the family.

Everyone loved Uncle Pork Chop!!When He and my Mother's Sister Aunt Eloise & Donna Marie Ashe all moved here from Augusta, GA in the 1960's, My Parents Delbert & Mary Redding Dewees offered them a lot of theirs here next to us. They built a beautiful home there & Daddy gives everyone a "Nickname"...so Uncle Donald was dubbed "Pork Chop" & it stuck! Daddy needed a Driver to sell Live Shrimp so he went to work for him for over 20 years!! I loved them always living next door! Uncle Pork Chop was always a Jokester & he lit up the room when he walked into a room!! I know he is lighting up Heaven with laughter & happy with Aunt Eloise!!

Pork Chop you will be missed... You made me laugh with all the stories you told over the 30+ years, we worked together, we remained friends, kept in touch....one day all that believe Jesus Christ is there savior we will be reunited again. Love you?Praying for Donna and the family. God bless

He was loved and supported by such a warm and giving family. Donna was the most amazing loving daughter and he must have loved and appreciated her more than she'll ever know. Prayers for the entire family during this sorrowful time.

My sweet Uncle Pork Chop. I love you very much and have all my life! Heaven gained a precious soul the day you went home! I know all our family is celebrating as only the Redding clan can!! I have blessed to have my Little Pork Chop in my life. I have felt more like a family member, then just his nurse.
