Hal and I were very best friends at Henry Mitchell elementary school and I lived a block away from him. My dad was at MacDill AFB so my time in Tampa was short. You know in the movies where characters cut and then clasp hands in order to become blood brothers, Hal and I are blood brothers and we shared as best friends a couple of summers when summers seemed like they lasted forever. So Very sorry to family and friends of wonderful Hal, We shared a desk throughout home room years and Plant High Days. Smart and Cute, a great surfer. When I saw him at the class reunion obviously a wonderful Dad to a beautiful daughter. Sorry to hear he will not be at another class reunion and he has gone on to Greater sunsets. Peace, Kathy

The shocking and sad news just reached me in NC. Hal inspired great admiration and gratitude for his legal expertise and assustance. His subtle humor and dogged determination will be remembered as i too mourn the loss. What great spirit he had!

I only knew Hal for a short period of time. He represented me in a real estate matter. He was personable, easy to talk with and a practical lawyer. He assisted me in resolving a difficult dispute. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Sending the deepest of sympathies to Hal's family. I was so impressed by his legal ethics with several Real Estate closings I had with him. I'm glad he was on "our" side. Blessings to all.

Dear Kaley, Cindy and family- my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hal was such a sweet, funny, fun person to be around. I'll never forget him volunteering at Coronado - he and Ward Berg were our great father volunteers! He touched so many people- it sounds like all over the nation! I'm just glad that Joey and I were able to have know him. God Bless Hal's family and the huge group of friends he leaves behind. 😘💜💗💙💓
